Im happy12 walkoff losses since the start of last season. The most in baseball.
Inventing new ways to lose to terrible teams.
But Hal Steinbrenner doesn't understand why the fanbase is not happy.

I'm big on using the minor leaguers... I mentioned him, in case "another" playoff team needs a veteran DH - they could trade Turner.
This would open up the DH spot - in which Dalbec/Casas/Devers/Masataka could share.
I just hope Dalbec is not another AAAA player...
Im happy
Well than fire Boone cause cole should have never been taken out of yesterday’s game… all a bunch of dummies these days!
This guy might be the most impressive prospect I can remember. Certainly in the last decade+. He’s going to be a thorn in everyone’s side for a loooong time.
Yup. Glove looks lousy(which is odd because I don’t recall hearing that while he was in the minors). I’m sure he’s working on it, though. He’ll improve.Hitting .273/.356/.492 since the beginning of May. .283/.367/.531 going back to the beginning of June.
He's homered in each of his last three games too. Not too worried about his bat going forward... glove is another story, though.
Dalbec is crushing the ball at AAA(1.075OPS). I doubt he has a slot with the Sox, but I think he could probably start right now for a handful of teams. I would strongly expect the Sox to move him at the deadline. Maybe for a relief arm. Something like that. He has done a lot to restore his value this season.I'm big on using the minor leaguers... The funny part is that Sox fans are really happy with the way the team has been playing while Yankees fans are ready to jump off a bridge. Oh, the high cost of expectations.Dead last in the AL East with the Red Sox.......good times!

It’s an exceptional division. At the same time, it’s only possible now because of the changes in the schedule they’ve made reducing the number of division games and adding games against other divisions. So “never been done before” needs a bit of an asterisk because this is made possible because of that change. Again though…clearly the best division in baseball and that’s not even a debate.
I still think they are very dangerous if they can get Judge healthy and line up Cole and Rodon in a playoffs series. But they have to get there first and there are a lot of “ifs” involved along the way.My expectations for this team has been well documented the last few years……
A lot aaaaa wat!!!I mean 102 pitches in 6 innings is quite a lot. Not worth pushing in mid July game.
A lot aaaaa wat!!!
Former pitcher here who got in the grove in the 5th inning…
Who the hell came up with this 100 pitch BS anyway?
A NERDDDDDDD?
All is going wrong with yanks…I mean thats over 17 per inning through 6.
Puts him on pace for 120 through 7. No reason to push it.
If your pen cant hold a 2 run lead to the Rockies over 3 innings thats the issue. Cole should 120 in september vs Toronto. Not july vs shit ass Colorado.
Faria DFA’d and Bleier activated. Not that Bleier is anything special, but Faria was 100% useless.Lol. Faria's gonna blow this 11-0 lead, isn't he?

It’s amazing that they have made this run without Sale, Houck, Whitlock and Kluber. All 4 should(theoretically) be due back in August. That will help clear out some of the dead wood on the staff. Schreiber due back this week and he will help the bullpen a lot. They need a couple arms at the deadline, though.Unfortunately not a lot of intriguing arms in AAA, especially now that Walter and Murphy
But yeah, that was one of the shittier Sox pitching performances I can remember. Thankfully it a low leverage situation.
