Orioles been playing possum. Get the #1 pick of the draft (and a clear number one at that) and then be contending for first place the next year (withOUT the help of said #1).
The Orioles have one of the most loaded farm systems in years. Will they move some of those chips for Ohtani? Scherzer? Verlander? Giolito?Their window is wide open, but they shouldn’t take that for granted. They might be the best team in the AL with a couple tweaks. Will they do it?

It’s amazing that they have made this run without Sale, Houck, Whitlock and Kluber. All 4 should(theoretically) be due back in August. That will help clear out some of the dead wood on the staff. Schreiber due back this week and he will help the bullpen a lot. They need a couple arms at the deadline, though.
Kluber might have been addition by subtraction...

Right now, all healthy, I think I'd go Sale/Paxton/Bello/Crawford/Houck.

Gotta say, Bernardino was a good pickup. Bloom did a great job with that one

Another day, another double for Duran. Pretty wild to see him with a .199 ISO despite only having 5 home runs

Uhhhhh do you really want Kluber back??

Faria yesterday did his best Kluber impression when that dude kept throwing the Twins BP in a 9 run game.

Pivetta's been awesome in the pen. I love him in the long relief role.

Did you see the hit piece a Red Sox fan did on Pivetta a week before he was moved to the pen? This has 119k views. As an outsider who doesn’t know much about the guy other than his career-long rep of being an underachiever, I can see the sensationalism. Pivetta might have one of the worst attitudes for all I know; it’s just funny to me all this clickbait merchant had to back up his thesis are a few interview clips of Pivetta reacting to a situation more or less how many pitchers in that situation would.

Team is so embarrassing lol

Rizzo does what he need to do and move the runner to 3rd with 1 out

Bader can't put the ball in play

Now I expect the Angels to show the yankees how its done correctly

If Kluber is fixed(or can be fixed), they could use him. He’s had a long break to figure it out. I’m thinking he might have something left in the tank? Not sure. Definitely wouldn’t bet on it, but stranger things have happened.
