Certainly looks suspicious now that we have his whole career to look at.

Such a terrible signing. And to think we sent you guys a 1st round draft pick on top of it.

Lucky our GM has removed his head from his ass since then.

Oh boy. Implying that Cashman had his head in his ass at one time or another is going to earn you a tongue lashing from Le Dirt.

The Ellsbury signing is one all Yankee fans (except Pastafazul) can acknowledge has been an unmitigated disaster.

Is he expected to play tomorrow?

Haven't seen anything yet. Hit him right on the top of the numbers by a first baseman - how bad could it have hurt? Probably 70-80 feet away and that guy probably throwing at most, what 85 mph?

Seeing now it's a "shoulder contusion" and he's questionable.

I expect he'll be playing. He is off to one hell of a start.

Playing so well opposing teams are blatantly trying to injure him.

That wasn't on purpose, Texas just sucks. If they tried to hit him they probably would have missed.

if you feel what he was brought over here to do, what he did for the Sox, and he failed, fine.
i don't. i believe girardi is soley responsible for ells situation. i believe a coach can ruin a player. i have seen it first hand..

we had a putz for a coach, his name danny schmitz, was in the met org. for 11 years and never made it to the show! frustated little bastit!!!! he did not know wtf he was doing, whole team couldn't stand him! one nite our bonus baby got so sick of him, told him right infront of the crowd... 'go phuck yourself! well, he did not stay in org for very long after that, and neither did that putz of a coach!

Eh, If Ellsbury wasn't hurt all the time, maybe I could see your point. Girardi played the guy who was available. Most of the time that wasn't Ellsbury. And when he was healthy enough to play, he sucked.

Ellsbury has been one of the biggest bust signings in the history of baseball

What kind of debate is this

Severino/Pomeranz

Tanaka/Price

Sabathia/Porcello

Match-ups would seem to favor the Yanks, but you never know.

My prediction is Boston leaves NY with only a share of 1st place.

Tanaka is always a wild card. He never seems to have a so-so game. He's either great or gets beaten like a red headed step child.
