as good as the Yankees are--- I think Cortes is going to come back to earth a little bit, and Cole has not pitched great either lately.

Cole, Cortes, and Montes are 3 big names- but cant say I absolutely trust any of them.

Cortes has been great--- but I dont trust him as a #1 or #2....small lefty that does not go deep in games.

I'd love to see us take a flier on Franmil Reyes. He's had a bad 2022 but he had a career 121 OPS+ before this season. They're gonna need a DH in 2023.

even the best teams are going to have stretches where multiple if not all facets aren't working. It's a 162 game season. I do think the Yankees pitching was performing well over their heads but it's still a very solid staff. I think Montas will be fine

9-16 in the last 25 . 3 of those wins came against the Royals. The only positive thing I can say is it is early August so they have time to get it back going in the right direction before October
