Rays and Sox savaging each other's pitching staffs this afternoon.

You hate to see it.

Sox are going to score a lot of runs this year. That offense is no joke.

Garrett Whitlock still dominating, too. Hard to put much stock in these games, but he’s been untouchable.

I think Devers is going to have monster year, provided he gets pitched to.

Several of my fantasy teams are counting on it.

They seem to be setting it up to bat him 5th this year, which I don’t really like. I much prefer him 2nd or 3rd. He’s probably the best bat on the team.

Knew he was gonna be trouble when he took a 100 mph lefty fastball out to the opposite field in Yankee stadium a few years back. Even Chapman was like "Did that just happen?" LOL

Really good hitter.

Yup. I remember it well. That was a huge eye-opener and Chapman was shocked. The homer off Verlander in the 2018 ALCS was another one that showed he belonged. He needs to work on his defense at 3B, but the bat is elite. It’s not like he’s unknown, either. He led the league in total bases in 2019.

Lol! Hey, you were the one that implicated Posada in the first place.

BTW, do we know all 104 guys who failed that first test, or just the high-profile guys?

The list was released at some point not long after ARod and Ortiz were named. But the authenticity of that list was questioned.

not AL east, but we got a smart one here...
VAIL, Colo. -- A minor league baseball player is facing drug charges after police in Colorado found 21 pounds of methamphetamine and 1.2 pounds of oxycodone pills in his Chicago Cubs duffel bag.

The Vail Daily reports Jesus Camargo-Corrales, 25, of Tempe, Arizona, appeared in Eagle County Court on Thursday on charges including unlawful distribution of methamphetamine and oxycodone, both class 1 drug felonies, as well as charges of unlawful possession of each drug, both class 4 drug felonies.

The Major League Baseball website says Camargo-Corrales, a pitcher, was first signed to a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs in 2014, and was assigned to the South Bend Cubs in February.

"We are aware of the arrest of one our minor league players," said Julian Green, senior vice president of communications at Chicago Cubs. "We are investigating this matter and cannot provide additional comment until we have further details.''

He was ordered held on $75,000 bond by Judge Rachel Olguin-Fresquez.

The Eagle County jail confirmed he was still in custody as of Saturday. It's unclear if Camargo-Corrales has an attorney who can speak on his behalf.

Cora seems to love Kiké Hernandez at the top of the lineup and I can’t figure out why.

Also, they seem to like Renfroe(or soon to be Franchy) behind JDM. Dalbec has been hitting way down in the order. They probably want to get him comfortable down there before moving him up.

I haven’t heard much about Gary Sanchez’s “hot Spring” in a while....

Be batting 9th in this lineup, all gravy, just can’t crush them defensively
How has his defense looked this Spring? I know when we saw him last, none of the pitchers wanted to work with him and he wasn’t starting. The backup might be a better bet.
