He’s still getting outs with the lesser stuff, but that’s not what you expected(velocity-wise) when he was signed. Yankees are lucky to have a lot of depth out there if Kluber keeps looking like Paul Byrd.

If we view Kluber as a backend rotation guy, we will probably be ok with him

barring a trade, come October, Cole, Severino and German may be making the most important starts, and Taillon is my wildcard, Montgomery can surprise

if Kluber resembles Kluber, all the better, if he pitches like a 4, I’m ok with that

I think he's got to be added to the roster by tomorrow or they've got to release him, so we'll know soon enough.

Agreed. Little too much of a crapshoot for my tastes. Taillon's short-arm delivery bothers me also. Just looks unnatural, IMO, although the results this spring have been good.

Springer tweaked his oblique as well. They said they think he'll be ready for the opener, but you never know with those obliques, they tend to linger.
