That's just the beginning, though. The best part is that these two assbags are on the Red Sox's books for the next four years to the tune of nearly a quarter BILLION dollars.

Can’t argue it.

I knew Dombrowski would leave the Red Sox, farm depleted and a handful of shit contracts, just like every other stop he’s made, but he snagged you another title, so... fuck.

Sucks for me.

Yeah, the next few years are going to be a rough situation trying to keep the likes of Betts/Benintendi/Devers/Eduardo. I think the farm system is improving but I'm not expecting much in the way of minor league reinforcements the next couple of years. I like Dalbec but he needs to be able to make some contact at the major league level. Not much in the way of SP prospects outside of Mata and maybe Houck (who is probably a major league reliever, Sox were trying to fuck with his mechanics).
