Yankees acquired LHP Alfredo Garcia from the Rockies for RHP Joseph Harvey.
Not exactly what Yankees fans had in mind as MLB's trade deadline expired. Garcia is a 20-year-old left-hander who has put up a 6.00 ERA (albeit he's posted 123 strikeouts in 105 innings) in 22 starts between Low-A Boise and Class A Asheville this year.

I am not shocked at all that the Red Sox didn't do anything... For one, they really have no trade chips and two it seems to me like they have packed in this year and just hoping to squeak into the wild card. Rays stepping up their game though
