Like I said previously, I dont see the O’s or Yanks getting it done this year due to their poor pitching staffs.

Every pitcher has those games where they just can’t seem to put the ball around the strike zone. Didn’t watch the game but could easily see that being the case. And for the White Sox, even as bad as they are, they can have a good offensive showing every once in a while. It’s why they play 162 games.

We are lucky that, even in the games where he is off, Corbin Burnes has always gone 5 IP in every start this year. It’s understated how important that can be.

The word is meh to me and I think people are overreacting (see Michelle Wu's posturing attempt), but I'm more annoyed about him saying it in front of a stadium (it'd be one thing if it was a 1 on 1 interaction in the outfield or him walking to the dugout) and what the heckler said was honestly pretty tame ("you need a tennis racket"). That also feels like an overreaction for someone hitting you with a Space Jam quote. On the other hand, he's had mental issues and he may have just slipped and said it. Not gonna burn my shirt over this.

This story just feels like the cherry on top of some pretty crappy baseball since the ASB.
