If I'm the Yanks, this would be my ALDS pitching rotation assuming Sevy pitches the WC game.

Game 1- Sonny Gray
Game 2- CC Sabathia
Game 3- Luis Severino
Game 4- Tanaka

Should be noted that I fully expect Joe to swap CC and Tanaka which will be a horrible move IMO.

CC road splits are so much better. Actually much better than he's been at the stadium.

7-3 with 3.18 ERA

don't know if sonny is ready to take on that kind of pressure, i trust him more then the rest i guess...

yup. pretty crazy to think that considering they have the 5th best W-L% among MLB franchises (and have had only 9 sub-.500 seasons since 1967). Playing in the same division as the franchise with 40 pennants and 18 division titles doesn't help though.

Tomorrow will decide the division IMO. If the Sox win then it is over. Yanks are not picking up 3 games over the weekend. However if the Sox lose and the Yanks win then we will have a very interesting weekend on our hands. Making up 2 games considering the opponents for both teams doesn't seem too crazy

Yanks won't be favorite to win any series if they make the ALDS. They just need to win the WC game and this will be a successful season in my book. After that, we're playing with house money. The rotation is hit or miss. Only guy I really trust is Sevy & I trust Tanaka when he pitching in the bronx

Yea Tanaka road splits are awful and we have to pitch Sevy in the WC game. But knowing Joe, he will throw Tanaka out there in Game 1 if we win the WC game and Tanaka will give up 6 runs in 3.1 IP
