I'm not too mad especially since we won the first 2. Just win tomorrow then take care of business in our 9 games at home. Need to try and win 6 of those games. If they do that then we're 57-49 entering the dog days of August.

Girardi should stop fucking around and make Green the 5th starter already. He's not nearly as much in the pen as he was last week. We now have 5 really solid guys I trust. Stop throwing the Luis Cessa and Caleb SMith out there and losing games.

definitely excited, but I have tempered expectations (mostly because of his age). FWIW, Steamer projects him to hit .270/.311/.437 (91 wRC+). The league average 3B in 2017 has a 100 wRC+. Red Sox 3rd basemen have a 54 wRC+ this year. He'd be a huge upgrade if he hit in line with that projection, mostly because Red Sox 3rd basemen have been so bad.

The Sox offense has been one of their worst in a while. Kinda forgot how bad the 2014 lineup was. Ortiz, Napoli and Betts were the only three hitters with an OPS+ north of 100 (Holt, Nava, Pedroia and Cespedes were a tick under). Everyone else was just bad.
