Awesome, Scherzer pitched a gem and the O's took an L as did Boston! The Jays are now alone in 1st and....wait...what?
Nice avi.

Would be in the Cy Young discussion if he played on another team. The Yankees offense took quite a few wins away from him. Should have 15+ wins or so
He's having a great season, for sure, but even with 15 wins, his inclusion in the CY discussion would be : Tanaka won't win it.
Not enough innings or Ks.
Not sure what wins have to do with anything - Cy's have been won with 13, 15 and 16 wins in recent years. He can easily get to 15 W's by the end of the year.
I think he'll get votes, but overall there are others (Hamels in particular) who probably have the upper hand.
yah. It's going to this Beast
my vote is for this guyI'd say he and Hamels are the most likely winners if the season ended today. It doesn't though, and Happ's last two games have been clunkers. I don't think he'll hang in there, personally.
The Yankees may get to play spoiler, but nobody is shaking in their boots at the prospect of playing the team that performs the worst in the division when it comes to their rivals this year...the 19-27 Bankees.
my vote is for this guy
Not a good couple of days. The O's respectfully disagree with you
Nobody wants to play the Yankees , kids with nothing to lose , team girardi can manage , it ain't over till it's over!
from this day forward every yankees game is a playoff game, pretty cool considering most gave up including me, i will be paying closer attention to what is going on, what a remaining schedule yanks have never seen anything like it.... go yanks, now this is baseball!
It's a wide open field. If the season ended today there are five or six guys that could win without surprising me.No doubt, a reasonable choice.
Crazy.
If you'd have told me a few years ago that JA Happ and Rick Porcello would both be competing for a CY, I'd have told you to eat my schvanson.
