That was a hell of a swing. Cleveland comes back to tie it, The Twins blow it. Cleveland blows it, the Twins come back and end up winning it.

It went from looking like 1.5 games down to .5 game up in about an hour.

It went from looking like 1.5 games down to .5 game up in about an hour.

Surprised they even came back...hell of a game. Got a run off Workman, which is tough to do. Lindor made a rookie mistake or CLE has a great chance at winning that game in the 9th. You win some, you lose some.

Odds nearly 2X as much to score from 3rd with 1 out than second with 1 out. If I'm correct, if odds are better than 50% he makes it on the steal, doesn't that make it a sound play statistically to try it?

Are you really arguing? hahaha even he said it was stupid and a "rookie mistake". That is like the golden rule, don't get thrown out a third with less than 2 outs.
It was a mistake bc you have 1 out and already in scoring position. You are the game-winning run. Unless you get an amazing jump and you are positive you take 3rd...you don't do that. I don't care what the odds are to score. A base hit and he score...plain and simple. That was not needed. All momentum was for CLE and then he gets thrown out at 3rd. Lindor was clutch all night...but that was a terrible decision.
