Now the Indians get the Red Sox who have been struggling, perfect timing for the Indians but they have to take advantage.

Then they got 4 with the Yankees, depending on how the Red Sox series goes I would love a split 2-2. The Yankees are playing some great baseball.

You would think. There is really no excuses if they lose with a schedule that terrible. The easiest among contenders in MLB

Yup. If they're within 2 games of the division or leading then no way in hell should they lose the division IMO

Then they got 3 with the hottest team in baseball after the Yanks. Real tough stretch before things get soft again.

Good thing for them is Twinkies got a tough stretch this week also. 6 on the road vs Milwaukee and Texas

Texas isn't playing great baseball but they play 2 good teams. After this stretch the Indians get the Royals and Tigers so hopefully they can win 2 out of 3 of those series.

Twins get 4 straight series vs the White Sox & Tigers after their 6 game road trip this week lol

The division is likely going to come down to who can beat up the Royals, Tigers, and White Sox better lol.

25 games against those teams for the Twins and 16 for the Indians

They would spend it excellently. There is no cap. They always make the move when needed.

The twins simply don’t make the big move. Ever.

Wilfs sign the the Grienkes. Not the Nolascos

Right, because Cousins is so much more like Grienke than he is Nolasco.

Everyone in this town kisses those schiesters asses. They got twice the taxpayer money that the Twins did for their stadium, they make 279 million from their TV contract before selling ticket #1, hot dog #8 or beer #4.

I love the Vikings, but to pretend their ownership is taking a financial bath all in the name of winning is completely absurd.

The Vikings signed the guy that was viewed as the big FA Target. Again, there’s a cap at a play. So it may not of been the wisest money. But baseball that isn’t the issue.

So yeah, he’s clearly more of a Greinke than a Nolasco.

When the Vikes have a window to compete they go for it. Does it work like a charm? No. But the Twins don’t even try, at all.

The Wilfs wouldn’t get Phil Hughes on a bargain. Then immediately give him way more money, to now make it an albatross

If you can’t see the difference in the two organizations I really don’t know what to tell you.

The Vikings don’t build a quality roster of young talent and look to fill in the holes with career cast offs/journeymen.

We gave a starting rotation spot to Martin fucking Perez. What part of his career said he’s a contending teams rotation piece?

Also, for the record the decision makers are Spielman and Falvey/Levine

The Wilfs just open up the checkbook. The Pohlads don’t.

So again, yeah we’d be in far better shape with the Wilfs. Then we’d really see what type of dumbass Falvey is with a bigger budget

He hasn't been good of late but still one of the most dominant closers. I just wish he didn't make me have a heart attack every 9th inning in a close game.

Hand>Wickman

I mean Hand is one of the best Indians closers ever, short stint. When I think of closers of the 90's all I can think about is Jose Mesa and I want to throw up in my mouth.

He will be fine. Every closer has rough patches

Hand needs some rest. He is clearly spent. Francona is a top notch manager but his bullpen management sometimes is very questionable
