Stop proving my point...

What point is that? That there are not many 5'11'' 275 men that play baseball? I thought your point was that their body type didn't last long... not that the average 5'11'' 275 man isnt good at baseball.

nosfer is grasping for straws.. this is fun... Its like when a bully picks on the same kids for years.. then runs into someone that not only he can't bully.. but can bully him.. you still have not answered any of the questions I posed.. Show stats that prove large men don't last late into their 30s... PROOF PLEASE

Well, the freakin Red Sox are 1-3 with the Tigers, first of all. The A's are 1-2.. not to mention last season reg season and ps. NYY are 1-2, not to mention last yr ps. The O's are 4-2 with the Tigers, but I'd put our rotation up against theirs in Oct. So, AGAIN, there's MORE to suggest the Tigers will play well in the ps than won't. AND.. I'll say it AGAIN, the Twins are a pain that I hate watching the Tigers play. At 26-22 vs winning teams, I'm fine with the Tigers playing-- just not worried about it. Btw, if you don't think Detroit is acquiring the bp help they need at the deadline for their playoff run, then it's YOU who has the 'issues' to address. One more time now.. not worried about the Tigers ps chances.. but thanks for checkin

Why are you putting words in my mouth? I never said they wouldnt get bullpen help. Are you related to Doug? Dear lord I made it clear in saying OVER THE YEARS. Talk about cherry picking. You take the Sox from this year then talk about Yanks last year series and the O's rotation being worse. FACT is. Since Detroit has been AL Central favorites they have played probably close to 50/50 ball with the Sox. Cleaves and Dougy always mention the tough West coast trips to teams like the A's and Angels. Ranger are another team you are probably 50/50 with as well as Yanks(except you get them in the playoffs).

BTW. You guys havn't struggled with us at all. AGAIN, it is completely idiotic to want to face a team loaded with all star talent over a pathetic team like the Twins. It is really mind boggling you would even bring this up.

Crickets from nosfer.. he is trying to come up with some other distraction to take focus away from the fact he was proven to be nothing more than a mouth piece flapping his yap.

Dougy, I havn't heard you talk about Dirks as much this year. Last year he was a "real go getter, and gamer".

I guess it was just a temporary wood you had?

Just curious.. is Raul Ibanez roiding to still be hitting at the age of 41?
Explain to me how 6'2 225 is the same as 5'11 275

Dirks sucks... I said that from the start.. he does nothing well.. at best he is average... Garcia has above average potential.. Dirks needs to go.

Explain to me how 6'2 225 is the same as 5'11 275

Explain to me why you can't just admit.. that Fielder is a unique talent.. and nothing about him says he is less or more likely to have a long career than the next... Other than the fact he never misses a game.. and has been about as consistent as anyone in hitting with runners in scoring position, getting rbi.. and among others.. hitting hr... so... unless you want to admit Fielder is a unique talent... show some stats that would prove your arguement.

I will say this although you'll try to twist it into something else.

I like Prince Fielder and have argued for him against fellow Twins fans but someone 5'11 275 is not likely to play well into their 30's no matter how much you might want him too...
