We need some White Sox fans - so we can all point at them and laugh.

We can substitute Sox fans with Tig fans! :laugh3:

Tied for the lead halfway through season, I will take that.

Twins not that far out. Nothings impossible
Maybe you noticed some of the pitching stats I posted on the Twins, some things are indeed impossible...

Shanie....pointing out that the Tigers have not played up to expectations, does not guarantee anything for the Indians. OK...the Tigers currently suck. Will the Tribe take advantage of that, or let Detroit win the division anyway. When you get older, and have pubes and all, you'll start to understand that big talk on a sports board does not translate to anything. :D

1987 changed me. So did 1991. In 1987 we were young, inexperienced. The Tigers were the class of our division. With less talent than they, we won it. In 1991, I think we came off of a last place season. I never think we are out of it. True, we do not the talent to win in the playoffs on paper, but those two seasons help me refuse to concede. I find flaws in the teams ahead of us. I am convinced if Cabrera went down, we could win this division. With little to no SP. I would prefer to have talent, but even without it, no AL Central team scares me. The Indians are tied for first. Name their rotation..

You sound pathetic! LOL whenever you talk shit you think you are hard, but you can't the trash talk back. Typical Tig fan.

Take advantage, we are winning while you have been losing.

Indians pitching is still slightly better and at same time so is their offense.

Rolling, the optimism is nice but we have absolutely no chance to finish first. I would take 3rd as a victory. That even seems like a reach.

Shane.....go away. You aren't even worth a comment any more.

Anyhow....

Kind of odd that so many people (especially Tiger fans) feel that the Tigers are currently just 'mis-firing' and that because they struggled the first half of last year and then won....that the Tigers will do that AGAIN this season. The Tigers are a two-faced team. Big stars but with a lack of basic baseball skills and fundamentals. Which one will show up the most during the second half? Just because they played better in the 2nd half last year....does not assure the same this year.

It is so easy to get to Tig fans. Once they start losing they either go away or get butthurt.

Tribe still needs to get the rest of the rotation pitching good in the 2nd half of the season.

:agree:

And with Verlander having an ordinary season, Sanchez hurt and no closer. The Indians still have issues at starting pitcher, but the daily lineup is improved considerably from 2012. The Tigers cannot expect to just flip the switch and win this division.

Well...if doug is a true 'homer'....he will be blaming Leyland for all the Tigers' problems. S.O.P. in Detroit, I think.

Hey Doug, good to see you alive and well. Not jumping off bridges yet? Wait until Peralta cools and the 5-9 part of lineup starts to fail like last year....

OK a scenario where Twins make playoffs... JV develops bad elbow, shelved. Cabrera gets third DUI, out drinking with Fielder, and both are suspended for 50 games. Now the Tigers blow. Meanwhile, the Indians Jason Kipnis leaves for Cuba, better baseball. KC's rotation is sold back to the Rays for cash. Twins waltz through division...

It could happen..
