when I was yound every tiger game I went to Milt Wilcox was pitching. every time!!!

wanted to see jack Morris just once!

actually have a funny story about Milt Wilcox. For those who know what the Great Outdoor Games was about. Two of the events were involved with Dock Dogs. ESPN bought the Great Outdoor Games and moved it from Wisc to Disney World. Disney for the first time in 40 years allowed dogs to stay at the hotels. We had a dog that had won a silver medal the year before and other than the time it takes to jump the dogs, we sat around drinking at the pool all the rest of the week. I start talking to this guy really because his young Dog, a golden retriever, was in the top 6 dogs after qualifying. He said he used to be a pitcher in the major leagues. He tells me his name, Milt Wilcox. I just starting laughing, he asks why and I say my dads half siblings are all named Wilcox so I always followed him a bit more than most. He was sort of standoffish with everyone in the group but really opened up for a while and had fun with us at the pool. Disney wouldn't allow the dogs back the next year, maybe because we kept jumping them in the Mickey pool to see if they could make it across....after 10 pm and drunk...the guy was really cool.

He brought his dog, "Sparky" to several Meijer grand openings I had to work at. Dog could jump like crazy into a pool. Nice guy. Or was that Dave Rozema? Either way...

The encouraging thing is niemi being awesome and us dominating oppenents. Were in a cold spell scoring but continuously playing great hockey. Can't complain.
