Nos you shouldnt let a few homer tiger fans piss u off.

They don't really piss me off, it's more about making me root against the Tigers so I don't have to hear about how wonderful of a franchise they are and their I told you so bullshit. I for most of my life have liked the Tigers especially when they were in the AL East but now I can't root for them. The White Sox have always been my most hated team but now I find myself rooting for them when they play the Tigers, it's sad really...

Good thing the Indians bullpen is as bad as the Tigers.....otherwise Detroit would only lead by 3.5 games.

Shaneomatic....I thought that you said the Tribe's bullpen was awesome? Was that before Perez decided his dog could legally receive 'Lebanese Blond Hash' through the U.S. Postal system?

:hippie:

We can go back and forth not getting anywhere on this topic. Tigsbullpen has given up so made leads and Valverde is shit.

Our closer is still out, Pestano gave up the solo today to give Nats the lead. We will have to try to get through it till Perez comes back.

Peralta still juicing up?? :pound:

It would be hard for me to talk smack in baseball. With the unlevel playing field, it's not about which players you get, it's about hoping you get the richest owner.

It's a shame that Miguel Cabrera has cooled off (albeit slightly), as I was really looking forward to seeing him challenge for Hack Wilson's single-season RBI record of 190 or 191. Can't remember the exact number. Remember back in 1998 when Juan Gonzalez had over 100 RBI at the All-Star break? Everyone thought it was possible then, too. I hope Cabrera can make it happen during the last two-thirds of the season, and at least beat Manny Ramirez's 1999 total of 165.

Oh, man...

I wanted to quote your signature!

I love Mayo Smith, because I have about 10 baseball cards of his from his time as the Tigers Manager during the 60's. 1968 was a great year, man!

Is this where the Tiger fans have jettisoned to? Is this the continued AL Central Smack Talk thread of so many years? Are there Minny representatives? Did Quest make the journey?

Cleveland, the city with a thousand excuses and NO CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Ya it would be nice to get some Sox fans over here as well. Royals fans are pretty worthless. Just dumb and really know nothing about baseball.

Tigers are home.....it is time for Cabrera to step up again. The media has been hyping Miggy for weeks....but check out the numbers for Chris Davis. If Miggy continues to slow down....this guy could easily be a Triple Crown threat.

Davis wont catch miggy in RBI's and i dont believe in average either. Prolly get him on the HR's tho.

Somebody fell to turd place. Notice there isnt 3-4 posts from both shane-o and captain. Did that "superior" bullpen lose another? Poor james shields. The guy pitches his ass off and the royals never score for him.

Shano can't be bothered with the Indians....he is absorbed, currently, in watching World Class Checkers on TV.

Must be discouraging for Tribe fans. Detroit isn't even playing well and Cleveland is losing ground.

Geez. I just read that the Tribe is 8-18 recently. I guess they are fortunate that they aren't more than 5 games out of first. But, like I said, I don't think Detroit will run away and hide. Any team that can stay around .500 will remain in the hunt in the AL Central.

The Twins are killing it in the minors. Literally. The Elizabethtown bus just had a head-on accident, driver going wrong way. No Twins hurt. Time for a White Sox home series. We used to eat these guys up in Minnesota...

Check the indians board out? Why? Isnt that like trolling? All im saying is when the injuns were going 18-4 you and shano were on THIS thread all day every day. Letting us know how you guys were gonna be here all year and the tigers will keep looking up your asses. I could care less about the injun boards. I doubt they are anything like the tiger board, also mentioning how shano-o-mac was running onto the tigers boards all the time with his 12 yr old taunts when the injuns were going 18-4. And most tiger and other AL central fans called it about a month ago....wait until the injuns play some tough teams. 8-18? Thats brutal. Turd place for a turd franchise!

It is called a true fan. This isn't last yr, it is a new yr, totally different team.

Looks like the same ole sorry injuns. Hows that nick swisher deal working for ya?

Funny as i look back at this thread how much shano-mac was posting when the injuns were winning. Must be tough being a cleveland fan.
