Hey guys... The royals are good.. they really are guys - da55bums
saves - royals lead....save percentage - royals lead....use all the stats Stan..
And this is why you don't look like a moron...you are a moron....Verlander and Granderson...compared to Grienke, Beltran, Damon, Hosmer, Holland...just off the top of my head..and guess what.....The TIGERS haven't picked 20 picks later than the Royals over the last 28 or 29 years...which ever number you want to use...
WE CAN EVEN SAY MYERS< lol....
LOL @ da55bums saying his favorite team is the dodgers..

KC's got a better pen this year, but not because of saves and save %...saves and save % are highly overrated stats as you should know, given how saves and save opportunities aren't created equal. When Valverde and Lidge each had perfect save seasons, neither were the best closer in baseball those seasons.
I'd say WHIP and OPSA are the most important stats to evaluate relievers, and the Royals pen has easily been better than the Tigers pen.
But since we're arguing overall staff, the bullpen advantage doesn't makeup for the gap in starting pitching.
Vice will be an Angels and Trout fan after the Miggy's years decline...he was an Indians fan in the 90's...
yes it does...or the Royals wouldn't lead the AL in ERA...and the Tigers would have actually won a world series...so they do matter...but usually only matter if you don't have a closer. I actually hate the Save stat....I like the Hold stat much more....and QS over W...but to each their own.
Great list of players that left KC and did well. I like watching UofM QBs do well in the NFL. And MSU bballers in the NBA. I still remember watching Greg Jennings and Tony Scheffler in college. Must be weird to root for a professional team that's a feeder for other professional teams.
Beltran did great in KC..Damon did great in KC...Grienke won a CY young in KC...they did just fine in KC...Hosmer is doing great in KC...Perez will too....Butler has done great in KC...Holland is doing great in KC.....thanks for the incorrect thought though.

but it does translate in losing when it counts...if you only want to go back...say a year ago.
The dodgers were a laughing stock just like the royals until they threw 200 mil at them.. and the sad thing.... they are still not the best team in the NL.. the Cards still are.
