How is Jason Grilli all of a sudden the most unhittable closer in the game?

This one is mind boggling. He seems to have found himself in Pittsburgh the last few years but what he's doing right now is crazy.

I was just going to ask when were planning to play baseball but I see the tarp is coming off. But now I see we actually could still be a ways out. O well, time to watch some puck.

Is it bad I was rooting for a Miggy homer? It's just getting comical now.

Yeah, the Twinkies fans were actually thinking turn-around season when the team was a few games over .500 and in 2nd place. Just goes to show how fleeting April-May success can be.

Who was? No Twins fans I know were thinking turn around season.

Yes, nice comeback win for the Tigs. Porcello looks to be in his usual pattern... shelled, okay start, good start, great start, shelled. It's gotten predictable to the point of being comical.

Got to give some props to the Indians.... they absolutely embarrased the Red Sox last night.

Welp...Tigs and Indians win. Still neck and neck. Hoping it will be like this all season, unless Cleveland breaks away from the pack, of course.

Indians enter the weekend first in MLB in OPS, second in runs, first in slugging, first in home runs, fifth in doubles and first in extra-base hits

Cant argue with the stats :high5:

The indians have one of the best offenses on paper too, so it is not far fetched that they can continue being one of the better offenses in baseball...

Appears that the difference between Det and Clev will be the pitching staffs. I am not sure the starting pitchers can keep up with Detroits....unless Verlanders's troubles last all season.

Yes, no doubt the Indians can hit (though their home ballpark helps the hitters moreso than the Tigers' home). Starting pitching is their big question mark.

Also key: the bullpen. Tribe far & away superior to Detroit

Fun fact here: The Tribes bullpen ERA is 3.26 and the Tigers is 3.85.... Is that far and away superior? Sounds like you may be exaggerating a bit... Should i go farther? Okay i will

The Tribes bullpen batting Avg against... .221.... The Tigers bullpen Avg against... hmmm also .221

The Tribes bullpen whip: 1.24.... Tigers bullpen whip 1.26

LOL yeah they are far better... Atleast in your eyes

LOL yeah keep telling yourself that... You gonna be here when your team chokes so we can throw it in your face?

This team aint choking. Only question mark is the starting rotation

& yeh - Im always around, win or lose

BTW - know why Tribe fans hate the Tigers? Its not the team - its the arrogant, entitled homerism of its FANS... You guys make the Yanks trolls look like choir boys :laugh3:
