I never been to the big house.....who has statues? I know in muskegon, earl morrall has a street named after him right next to muskegon high.

What statues do they have in AA for hoops? Webber? Burke? Manny harris? Stu douglas?

Come on Cleaves.. Glen Rice? Cazzie Russell? Rudy Tomjanovich? UM had some great teams... MSU has been better overall.. but in stretches of the 60's 70's and late 80s early 90's UM was better... and they were better last year too.

Sucks always looking up doesn't it? Right now it's Detroit. Used to be The Twins. Before that the Indians. For a little while it was the White Sox. But it's never the Royals. Must be rough. Jacob Turner starts for the Marlins by the way,.... dummy.

Tigers farm also produced such fine talent as 2001 all star Matt Joyce, former all star Jair Jurrgens.

Here is a list of notable Tigers picks from 2002 -2008... I am not going much further because a lot of the guys from 2009 are only 21-24 and not been in the majors yet. This list does not show the Tigers international signings like Omar Infante, Ramon Santiago, Bruce Rondon, Villareal, Avisail Garcia, or the countless other Venezuelans they developed in the last 10 years. All in all.. Tigers system may not rank high.. but has produced countless MLB caliber players... and almost yearly is used to trade for proven vets. KC fans nut themselves over the value of prospects.. Dave Dombrowski brags them up.. then flips them for real talent... or uses them to fill holes until said technique can be used.

granderson - 2002 3rd rd ... HR hitting machine
Verlander - 2004 1st rd, Cy YOUNG
joyce - 2005 - Good MLB player....that Tigers gave up on

sure...lets talk about Jacob Turner....so, the Tigers development in the last 20, heck 30 years if you want to, has what Verlander, Granderson and Jacob Turner is now what you want to hang your hat on (who hasn't proved anything more than Bonderman or Miller or Porcello...yada yada has....)

if not, please...give me the top 5 tiger drafted and developed players who have ACTUALLY had MLB success...if Turner is on your list, be my guest...just list a time frame that can be compared.

Vice thinks the Tigers have done better at drafting and developing than most teams...I might list the Cardinals off the top of my head as number 1 at drafting and developing...Atl number 2.....but who cares...just want to know who Vice is hanging the Tigers hat on....Top 5...thats it...and they have to be a bit MLB proven...if Jacob Turner is on the list...sure, Danny Duffy is...got it...
