Shane - you have to learn that 'errors' is not the best way to judge an infielder. Yes Peralta did fine with balls hit at him or in one step in either direction. However, with a slow Cabrera at 3B, there is/was a lot of ground balls getting through the left side of the infield. Hopefully Iglesias can get to some of those balls and turn them from base hits into outs. (Yes, we know he will not probably hit like Peralta.)

Verlander. threw a lot of pitches. but Span had 2 hits on seeing eye ground balls. Harper had a broken bat blooper. only thing you can knock verlander on today is his control was erratic.

One of the analysts on mlb network called the rangers and injuns the most disappointing trade deadline teams.....i guess cleveland feels comfortable with what they got....anyways wishthe tigers could of gotten 1 more LHP. cecil, delaford, and lopez were all linked right up until the deadline. Im liking the moves tho. Saved nicky c while adding veras and iglesias. Cant wait to see him play the field. Havent really watched him but they say even pedroia was speechless at his defensive abilities. Just wish garcia wouldve been traded out of the division.

One more time dougie. It is my view that RIGHT NOW (as in today) JV is the Tigers 5th best starter. I think for the last 3 months, Porcello, and the rest of the staff, have pitched better than Verlander. I don't know why that is such a hard concept for you to grasp.

As for Miggy....only a dyed-in-the-wool 'cheerleader', like you doug, would say Cabrera is a good 3B. He hasn't been as bad as some figured he would be....but he has no range (lacks quickness) playing 3B. I won't go into 'range factor for an infielder because, 1. I think it is over your head and 2. I don't think you can read for comprehension.

BTW doug.....I bet you look great in your cheerleader outfit. Hope the skirt isn't too short though.
