Eight games the next 10 days, i'll be happy with 5 - 3

Considering how hot they are, I'll be alright with 4-4. They are a lot more legit than I originally thought, just a smart and well run franchise. Built on a budget, but they have that pitching.

Come on man, longest outing for a starter this year in his last start. Guys that lob in there at 70 MPH often do good for long stretches!

Thats what scary, he just bought himself a leash until September now.

Also the Guardians are not good lol

They have played their cream puff schedule and then got Dodgers at right time.

This is 8 games of two blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh teams. Benefitting from teh WS being the most disappointing team in baseball

Inches away from a walk off there but another nice comeback and some clutch hits

1-0

They are the youngest team in the majors and 7 over .500. Best bullpen in the majors. They will have some growing pains no doubt but neither of these teams are contenders, they both play in the weakest division.

They both suck ass.

The Twins willingly employ Nick Gordon

Last night was another perfect example of what pisses me off about Baldelli. He cant make up his mind in what type of approach he wants to have with in game managing.

Correa up 2 on no outs just need a run. Why not bunt him? Who cares his contract and status?

On the flip side though in the 9th. He manages as if we are going to win the game right there with the bottom of our order.

Henteges in. Pinch hits both Kirilloff and Larnach.

Now having Garlick hit there, not a bad move. He mashes lefties. But here is the issue with Roccos strategy

Garlick gets just a single. Now Gordon is in to run and play D(Gordon sucks ass). Miranda pinch hits for Larnach. Now hes in the game. So, after Garlick singles your banking on Miranda, Jeffers and Arraez(brutal verse lefties) to win the game. And banking on shit base stealer Gordon stealing bags. Of course it fails.

So in putting all his eggs in the basket of the bottom of our order and bench players to boot. We have no lost Kirilloff/Garlick/Larnach for the rest of the game when we need lefits/power for other match ups.

Instead, baldumbass should let Kiriloff face henteges and use Garlick for Larnach only. Now you keep AK a top 5 hitter on the team. You have Miranda still to use on the bench should shitty ass Gordon come up to bat later on.

Also, this bozo keeps starting both fucking catchers. Neither hit well enough to justify it, and you cant take either out of a game for match ups cause you lose the DH. Hes a complete goddamn moron

Giolito got shelled again today . 5 IP, 11 H, 7 R, 1 BB, 3 K's against the Jays. His ERA has gone up from 2.63 on May 25 to 5.40 in about a month. Home runs are killing him (2.13 HR/9, 20.3% HR/FB)

Correa squared to bunt once and didn't do it again. I blame him as much as Baldelli he knows the situation, get the fucking runners over don't try to be the hero and hit a 3 run homer!

I'll say this... Gordon's still fared better than a decent chunk of that first round in the 2014 draft. 13 players have never reached the majors (including the #1 and #2 picks), and 9 of them have been below replacement level players in the majors.

I know you don't believe that! lolzzz

Thats the thing.

Statistically what Jake Cave has done at this level and at the AAA level, is simply better.

Gordon sucks. Hes just the new guy so people think hes better than guys they clamored to be gone forever

Jake Cave

AAA: .296/.361/.480 with a .841 OPS

MLB: .240/.305/.417 with a .722 OPS and 95 OPS+

Nick Gordon

AAA: .252/.301/.366 with a .667 OPS

MLB: .247/.294/.359 with a .653 OPS and a 84 OPS+

The only good thing about Nick Gordon is that there is no drop off from him at AAA to MLB. So he doesnt kick you in the balls.......so long as you just know hes gonna suck regardless.

Baldelli cannot continue to manage this baseball team, hes out of his depth.

What part of Pagans 5.56 FIP says throw him a second inning tonight when he threw on inning of 2 run ball the day before??

But seriously for the youngest team in baseball never gives up. A ton of clutchness with this group. Gotta keep it up
