QBs: Ben Roethlisberger, Roger Staubach, Len Dawson and Bernie Kosar All born in Ohio and in Super Bowl

But the best part?

The Cleveland Communist Desmond Howard as well.

I heard it was south of a thousand.

Sad.

The Sox announced an attendance of 10,000 something. Someone made a rough count (it didn't say when during the game) and posted it on line as 974. How much truth in that? The club management is not fielding the question....but quoting their "paid ticket totals".

hey sling blade.

That's funny. Sling Blade.

MLS has an average attendance much higher than MLB. Ahead of NHL as well.

As I've said before, even if that were true, it'd be because MLB and NHL tickets cost money. You get a half-dozen MLS tickets free with a 2-liter purchase of Shasta at the local 7-11.

Plus regardless of the scoreboard, no one really wins at an MLS game

I think this will shed some light on my feeling for soccer:

@ChiSoxFan has been my financial guy for years and even after repeated embezzlement cases and reports to the SEC I stuck with him. When he informed me he was an MLS fan? Shytcanned!

Jordan Zimmermann toes the rubber today. If healthy, Zim should figure on making around $800,000 per start this season. Three innings? Six innings? All the same. He has the Tigers on the hook for this kind of cash thru 2020.

We'll be seeing those kind of deals for the Tiger games around mid-June, when the team is 16-47.

@dougplayer and you are an embarrassment to thinking people everywhere. The only reason you are kept around is so people who are fans of the others teams can laugh at your ignorance. Hopefully, your time is short and we can be like other threads. I have not found a worse thread, even on the Political Forum and it is because of @dougplayer and @Iffster (who may in fact be the same person, because what are the odds of having two people so inarticulate and boorish). Your act has grown old ... for the sake of all the good people on the hoop, take it somewhere else. Or make you own thread and say everything stupid there.

@dbldwn711 and @Shaggy ... I wish to be left out of the inane fray ... no other poster on this site annoys me as much as @dougplayer and @Iffster ... for the sake of basic decency make these two there own thread and let them continue with their spat there.

Then put them on ignore. Simple thing to do to never see posts from members you don't want to ...
