Cold weather. Not much hitting

No question the cold has something to do with it. MLB hitting numbers are down overall so far, and the Tigers have yet to play a game where the temperature at opening pitch is higher than 40 degrees.

That said, there were plenty of opportunities to score last night, and the hitters didn't get it done. Situational/clutch hitting was pisspoor. One might say they had no HEART.

Troll on special fella troll on. So the Indians are off to a slow start @ 6-5. Last year through 11 games they were 5-6. And in 2016 though 11 games they were 6-5.

Jordan Zimmermann of the 1.645 WHIP going for the Tigers. If the Indians' bats don't at least get a little healthy off this guy....then they have troubles.

I was wondering...if for some strange reason Cleveland let Tito go...what would be the over/under (in minutes) before he had another MLB managerial job? In other words...how fast could the Illitch family push Gardenhire out the door and give Tito the job of managing Detroit? I'd put the over/under at 12 minutes....and bet the under.

So. Tigers not only have to battle the other team all year. But also the cold. Bauer called it unsafe....i takes HEART to pitch as good as the tiger starters have. Tip of the sombrero to things hombres.
