I agree, but it infiltrates the good people into inane or "another thread" worthy conversations. I have no problem taking the heat from the ohio state guys in the NCAA Football Forum ... and they are not shy (I wouldn't respect them if they were).

BTW: Moderators, I think you will find several regular posters here who would agree to my recommendation. IMO, @dougplayer's repeated graphic sexual remarks, personal insults, and insults to the LGBTQ community would be enough to have him banned. But that is your call.
