Can someone explain to me why people carry on conversations with a "fan" who daily posts on a baseball thread, yet does not know that there is no "trading of draft picks" in MLB? I mean, I was stupid - I admit it - I carried on dumb conversations with "him"! But the rest of you?
Now I understand that doug is some sort of icon to some of you and whomever created and/or carries out this dougplayer character is considered a staple on eHoopla. Yet, whomever this guy is, don't the rest of you demand that he at least have some relevant knowledge of baseball? Sh!t isn't this dougplayer character suppose to be a long time member here? And he hasn't learned a thing about baseball????? wtf

We just don't have one that can be. But we can trade for one. There are 14 draft spots that can be traded for this year.

The Twins, Injuns and Royals are among baseballs dregs who received the welfare picks. As are the Diamondbacks.
