Tigers finally getting a top 10 maybe even top 5 farm after this year!

Isn't Al Avila still the GM?
I see trades of Mize, Manning, and Stewart to land the likes of Felix Hernandez and Ian Kinsler.

since KC will suck, they should have some fun, green light the "fast 4", every time they are on 1st and 2nd as well as give them all 1 chance to steal home. Go for some SB records.

Isn't it about time for the Tigers to start collecting the left-overs from the free agent barrel? There are some pitchers out there that might take a minor league contract from the Tigers - for one more shot at the bigs. Sure they're washed up....but take a look at the Tigers' potential pitching staff. If you can't break into that mess....then you might want to think about starting your second career.

Buck Farmer? Drew VerHagen? Blaine Hardy? Stumpf? Reineinenger? A Rule 5 guy....

You can't tell me that there isn't SOMEBODY out there more respectable than these retreads...

It's the worst lineup since that year we sucked bad....what was it 02?

Prospects are looking somewhat promising though

03. For an AL team to score under 600 runs in that era is pretty asinine. They scored over 800 the next year.

Mike Maroth lost 21 games and he was mocked for it. He couldn't have handled it better though. I don't think that we will ever see a 20 game loser again based on the trajectory that the game is going. We hadn't seen one since 1980 before that.

just looked at projected lineups, you know Miggy will be asking Nicky C, "what's that guys name?" more than once.

Only thing impressive the AL Central, the Indians SPs, they should build one AL Central team to put around them.

I just remembering looking at the lineup and going well this could be the worst Detroit team ever. Didn't think it would be quite that bad though.

We at least have a semi serviceable pitching staff compared to that and play in the worst division in baseball. So that's nice.

This season should be pretty instructive to see if the Royals rebuild timeline is early 2020s or mid 2020's or later.

Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that the Twins and Marwin Gonzalez have agreed to a two-year, $21 million contract.
The Twins already have starters penciled in at all four infield spots and left field -- the positions that Gonzalez plays -- but, of course, the super utility player has often not had a set "starting" job the last few years but has managed to play plenty. Gonzalez obviously offers Minnesota protection all over the field and they were able to get him on a very reasonable deal. One thing worth noting is that this would seem to make it more difficult for Willians Astudillo to get at-bats in a utility role.

Bummed about Astudillo but another great get.

Now let’s snag Kimbrel and Keuchel and go try and win this trash division.

Hopefully Bauer keeps saying stupid shit and gets himself traded too
