Report: John Chavis leaving LSU for Texas A&M - CBSSports.com

Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman is reporting that the Aggies have hired LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis for the same position in College Station.

It's a huge coup for Texas A&M, as Chavis has coordinated some of the best defenses in the country on an annual basis since taking over at LSU in 2009. Now the Aggies not only add somebody who can help fix a defense that finished dead last in the SEC in total defense and allowed 28.1 points per game, but they also weaken a division opponent in LSU.
