SEC fans seem to be upset when they are called out on the bullshit.
Haven't you been listening. They need the break in OOC because their in conference schedule is so grinding they need a break. (Well some of 'em get the break. Seems Georgia didn't get the memo...they finish with Florida, Mizzou, Auburn, A&M and Georgia Tech...all in a row)SEC fans seem to be upset when they are called out on the bullshit.
It's a damn good thing you do plays less OOC games, you can't beat ranked teams out of conference and you struggle to do it in conference, you might as well only embarrass yourself in conference.
NEVER...I mean it would be one thing if you had a shitty record of beating out of conference ranked regular season opponents...but never? WTF...It's one thing to not play that many, it's a whole other kettle of fish to never beat one...ever.
Both Pitt & Purdue play 11 regular season P5 opponents.
You are making this harder than it is. We aren't going to drop GaTech. It just isn't an option ... we've been playing them since 1893. Whether I or others think it's a shit rivalry doesn't change the fact that we play 9 P5 every year already. Add another SEC IC game, and we are at 10. That would then limit the number of other P5 we would play. How can that not make sense to you? Look at the number of P5 that play 11 P5 ... that's what this thread is about. We won't play 11 P5 every year, and that would be the effect of the SEC going to 9 IC games. I don't care about anyone else ... my post was about UGa, and only UGa. 9 SEC IC games would suck for us because it would inherently limit us being able to play other good P5 teams, something that I love that we do now.
Who should be above them that isn't?
WVU, and I’d say that’s pretty easy.
JMU (FCS)
@Missouri
NCstate
An I’d put Georgia in front of both of them higher on the list too.
Well we could be like SEC teams and pretend we play good OOC games and then talk shit because our conference has a perceived strength all the while ignoring the extra cream puff G5 we get at home that helps pad our win total.
An it’s not never, dummie. Good try though. Continue to deflect that absolute advantage your pussy conference has.

Technically before the Big 12 had a Championship game didn't Bama play the same amount of Conference games as OU??? Just sayin...remember that time Oklahoma won a playoff game....me neither. Teams that play 8 conference games 3 Okahoma 0. If only we had played 9 conference games, Oklahoma surely would have won all of those games.

If it's not NEVER you are of course going to let us know who this EOY ranked sad sack is....
I think you misunderstand what a pussy is...a pussy is someone who has never beaten a ranked regular season OOC P5 opponent. Someone who has won 5 of the lat 10 National Championships does not qualify...particularly in the playoff era. Because you see, it doesn't matter who you play if you don't win.
I guess you could go back to 8 games if you think is is such an advantage. Although if my team were 2 games under .500 against P5's from other conferences since joining the Big 12, and the Big 12 had not had a winning season in the playoff era against other P5 conferences....I might not be so eager to increase my opportunities for an ass kicking.
Missouri is over-looked on this list, I would agree with you there. I would say Georgia's is even with Purdue but not Pittsburgh's.
1993 Louisville (it’s the little things in life) As I said, It’s not Never. Good Try
No, you have misunderstood what a pussy is, SPECIFICALLY IN THIS DISCUSSION. In this discussion A pussy is someone who ignores the uneven scheduling and touts what their team has done all the while not mentioning how their team schedules like shit. Hiding behind the perceived strength of their conference because they are gifted an extra W over other conferences. That’s what a pussy is in this discussion.
I wish we would go back to 8 games because it’s absolutely an advantage. You continue to talk about wins as if that has any bearing in a scheduling OOC conversation. Anyone can win 75% of the OOC shit you clowns schedule on your way to 5 NCs in 10 years.
I finally see what you are saying. Because I say that little brother sucks, you think it isn't a big deal to play GaTech. Regardless of the fact that we dominate GaTech, they are a P5 school, now with a new coach, and as we've seen twice in the past 5 years they can have a good game and beat you. I'm glad to not have to play that stupid option, but they will probably be better in the future than Johnson had them. So, they aren't a great team, we don't look at it like a rivalry - what big brother does - but it is a solid annual P5 game. Add another SEC IC and we'd be playing 11 P5 per year if we want to continue scheduling like we do. JFC, man, how can you not understand this. Saying GaTech sucks doesn't minimize that they are a P5 school that is probably right in the middle or higher compared to others that we might play ... for fuck sakes, don't you say Pitt or whoever your OOC rivalries are suck? Have the last say, I'm done with this stupid back and forth.Again, you are the one making it harder. You stated your rivalry with GaTech isn’t a rivalry but then say it’d be harder to schedule other P5 teams and keep the GaTech game if the SEC went to 9. I’m asking why if GaTech really hasn’t been a rivalry. It’s not that hard to understand. An I don’t expect UGA to play 11 opponents every year. It’s just absolute bullshit you saying it’s really hard to schedule any other P5’s because you have to play one more SEC west opponent all the while stating GaTech sucks.

I subscribed to the athletic for almost a year now. It's very good. I also think FSU has their own beat writer. I subscribed for the ND coverage and CFB coverage in general and it's very good. It's like $4 a month or something. They also have promos all the time.
Congratulations, you found an fbs independent ranked #24 4 years out from joining Conference USA...that you beat by 2, in one of the handful of season you finished in the the top 10. Oh, the pride you must feel...still a NEVER for ranked P5.
I'm not ignoring anything, you are the one that is pretending you can't go back to an 8 game schedule...it's probably too late for 2019, but you guys could certainly be playing 8 by 2020. Hell, you guys couldn't decide who was champion when you played 9, you couldn't fuck it up any worse playing 8. I know whoever doesn't play Kansas every year will be pissed, but at least their SOS will go up.
If anyone CAN do it, how come nobody IS doing it. No conference wins 100% of their games against FCS teams, let alone G5 teams....and the last team to win 5 in 10 was Yale back when the jerseys were wool and the helmets were hair...
