Prepared...that's so often the case. Funny thing was they didn't have to do a lot out of the norm.

Not just a chance...A good chance as long as #12 suits up.

KC DEF played their best game of the season imo last week. They will need that kind of effort today to win imo.

I wouldn't touch this game if I were betting. It's about as close to a 50/50 as a game can get.

I'm still leaning towards this clearing the over.

When the KC/NE first met, I said it would take 40+ points to beat NE in the playoffs. I still think thats the case.

This is the real super bowl and whoever wins is taking it all.

Mahomes is slated to win the MVP. Since the MVP has not won the SB since 1999, if that trend continues NE has to win. I am having a very hard time here. Is this the year Mahomes dumps that trend. After all, the more a MVP keeps going to the SB the trend is bound to end. The MVP has gone to the last three SBs and four of the last five. Now, NE has the experience, but KC has the talent and home advantage. The better defense is NE, but KC has the best pass rush. Experience as a weapon is going away. The regular season has shown to have much less parity than in the past where good teams beat average teams. So teams playing in the playoffs nowadays are more prepared for the experienced teams than they used to be. Ever wonder why a wild card team or a 4th-seed has not won or even gone to a SB since 2012? Something changed.

Also, part of me believes Mahomes does not drive this team. Travis Kelce does. He's showing too much confidence to not be considered the captain of this team. That's why I don't take away experience for KC, but what I do look at is the fact that KC has not been in this position in a long time. NE has so many RBs they can throw at KC but no receiver is elite and Gronk is old. On the other end, KC has weapons to make up for the other being covered between Kelce, Hill, and Watkins. Don't sleep on the fourth option.

Since my preseason picks are both alive, I have to stick with NE in my main picks, but here's how I see it.

KC leads 28-21 with NE needing a TD to take it to OT. If that happens, game over for KC. But I am not changing my NE pick.

I can see betting the over/under, but not the game itself.

This is a whole different animal compared to last week. Chargers and Colts came out with the same gameplans they used the week before and the Chiefs/Pats were ready.

There is 100% no way the Patriots are attacking the Chiefs in the same way they did the last time they met. I could see both sides pulling out plays they've only talked about in practice because they don't want any tape on it.

I don't think the Pats are going to be all that exotic. I think they are going to use a lot of White, and Michel, and look for long sustained drives.

Live look at Denver fans looking for an excuse to say the Chiefs are overrated or choked:

A) they are overrated.

B) Andy Reid has a history of choking in the playoffs.

Hopefully, Reid's choking streak continues.

Come on, KC. Don’t make me sit through the Patriots and the Rams featuring Maroon 5. Don’t do it to me.

Congratulations to Tony Romo on figuring out a way to make it past the Divisional level.

Over/under on how many times they mention Tom Brady’s scuba suit?
