I can't wait to hear what happened. Im betting it was a normal beating.
No offense, but it baffles me how we can talk about a "normal" beating of a child.

More accurate than what? What other media outlet is announcing this? That sounds more accurate.
There is no normal spanking really in today's world. I got my ass beat by Dad on a daily basis but if that happened today he would be serving time. One thing ....was this even his kid?No offense, but it baffles me how we can talk about a "normal" beating of a child.
How did you get to that conclusion from that article? One visit in Mat is all that I saw.
Seriously, if the kid is 4 years old WTF could it have done to deserve a beating resulting in any injury? I don't mind people spanking their kids but the notion a 4 year old could justifiably provoke a beating resulting in injury is absurd.

Got it.I think he means the investigation has been going on for some time.
Adrian has likely been cooperating with police for a long time if this happened in May
The kid is 11
The case and not the abuse....got that. My bad.Well it did say the boy was injured back in May. An article on the NFL home page now says the same thing
Yes I did mean the case has been going on for awhile not that AP has been doing it awhile. AP has been before a Grand Jury on this already.

If one of my adult employees acts up and I take him or her over my knee and give a spanking, I'm going to jail and getting fired. Rightfully so. I don't understand why it's ok if it's a child.
That is workplace harassment and possibly sexual harassment if a female.
Even so, you are only getting fired which obviously makes sense.
Not even close to comparable.

You're right. Hitting a child is far worse.
No offense, but it baffles me how we can talk about a "normal" beating of a child.
I'm only going to this...When I was in school spanking was the norm. We had a choice over that or detention. Most of us took the hit...a large paddle with holes in it delivered by the Dean. Times have changed I know but many parent still use a spanking as punishment. If one of my adult employees acts up and I take him or her over my knee and give a spanking, I'm going to jail and getting fired. He supposedly spanked a child you lunatic
Good christ get out of your bubble
Now if it turns out to be far worse than what's reported so far, I will change my opinion.
