I can't wait to hear what happened. Im betting it was a normal beating.

No offense, but it baffles me how we can talk about a "normal" beating of a child.

There is no normal spanking really in today's world. I got my ass beat by Dad on a daily basis but if that happened today he would be serving time. One thing ....was this even his kid?

If one of my adult employees acts up and I take him or her over my knee and give a spanking, I'm going to jail and getting fired. Rightfully so. I don't understand why it's ok if it's a child.

That is workplace harassment and possibly sexual harassment if a female.

I think you are looking at the word "beating" and it looks bad. Maybe i should say discipline. A normal discipline, is you know, hitting your kids with a belt or spanking them with your hand.

I'm only going to this...When I was in school spanking was the norm. We had a choice over that or detention. Most of us took the hit...a large paddle with holes in it delivered by the Dean. Times have changed I know but many parent still use a spanking as punishment.
