The thing is that it doesn't matter if it is true or not the NFL can still suspend him. Elliot was suspended and never had charges filed. I bet he gets suspended as that is the way the world works today.

Elliott had a bit more evidence then this one though and was multiple run ins.

We don't know the details so I am not going to call him innocent or guilty, but lets hope he is innocent and lets hope the NFL lets the legal system take care of it before they make any type of decision.

It's a bad environment for this issue. The #MeToo movement - has no gradation for offense. I think if Gotsis went back to Australia - instead of pro football - this would likely not have come up (true or not true). I hope the truth will out.

I always hate these situations for so many reasons. If he is guilty then I hope justice is served in the situation. If not then really hope the truth can come to the forefront and his name can be cleared. Unfortunately in situations like this even if he is innocent the damage can be done. Have to see how this all plays out though.

So this situation is getting weird. The DA hadn't even brought up any charges against Gotsis when he was arrested. They were still investigating the case to see if charges would even be brought up against him but the cops jumped the gun in the situation. Sounding more and more like charges will not be brought up against him.

That is my hope too. This many years after though just makes this whole situation murky. If he did it I really hope she can produce evidence to prove that and if that is not the case then I hope Gotsis' name gets cleared before more damage is done to his reputation.

I understand and appreciate the #MeToo movement, but the dark underside is that all alleged (not necessarily real) assertions of sexual misconduct have the same penalty - reputation execution.
