I would have Mike PAtton sing

word

depends on when you get him tho...sometimes hes awful live, sometimes brilliant

btw, if you want to hear something aggressive with him in it google 'sepultura mike patton brazil"

bloody roots done with patton, and literally 25 guys on metal barrel drums

album of the year is one of my favorites, play me 'last cup of sorrow' and im in heaven

This is getting old
And so are you.
Everything you know
And never knew.
Will run through your fingers
Just like sand.
Enjoy it while you can.
Like a snake between two stones
It itches in your bones.
Take a deep breath and swallow
Your sorrow
Tomorrow.
So raise it up and lets propose a toast.
To the thing that hurts you most.
It's your last cup of sorrow.
What can you say?
Finish it today.
It's your last cup of sorrow.
So think of me
And get on your way.

If a Superband was formed today that had the talent the likes of which Zeppelin had...how would sing, play guitar drums and bass for them?

I am going with Mike Portnoy or Danny Carey on drums...

Pah leeese. We have two guitarists in our church band that can play anything Page and Clapton can. I knew a kid in high school that could play Hendrix;' rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. He was 15 years old. When he played it, you couldn't tell the difference between him and Hendrix.

Page and Clapton and Hendrix were known to music industry at a the right time (early-mid 1960s). It was all about timing and opportunity.

People are going to hate on me for this too... But I thought Aerosmith's "Get a Grip" album was really good...

I actually stopped listening to modern music after 1987. I have no clue who plays what these days, even less of a clue as to which ones are talented. All their music = junk to me.

I guess I'm one of those MPL's that Blade referenced a minute ago.

Describing the band's sound, Mike Patton said:
I don't listen to the radio, but if I did, this is what I'd want it to sound like. This is my version of pop music. In a way, this is an exercise for me: taking all these things I've learned over the years and putting them into a pop format. I've worked with many people who have said to me, 'oh you have a pop record in you, eventually you'll find it,' and I always laughed at them. I guess I owe them an apology.

Supergroups don't work...

But Dave Grohl would be the drummer if they did...

Travis Barker and Josh Freese are great too...

If I was going to pick any guitarist from modern day for a "superband"

John Frusciante

He can play any style you want and easily come up with the best melody out of anyone you name

Not sure if he is the only right answer, but when I think of best modern guitarist, John 5 is the first guy that comes to mind for me...
