Rapaport is almost never wrong. Rodgers will be a Packer this year and they will likely trade him next year.

That's been my opinion for months, I should be a sports writer

Of course that's what Gutey would say at the Packers shareholders meeting. Imagine telling your shareholders you screwed up the Aaron Rodgers situation so badly that you have to trade him

Sounds like Packers are close to a deal with Rodgers that will get him into camp. The concession is that they wont be allowed to tag Rodgers next season.

Pretty sure he's still under contract for the next season. How could the Packers tag him?

Trading him after this season seems much more likely.

Could be like what TB did in NE to play just 1 more season.

They never could, but it is sounding like it's setting up for 21 as final season, but so much rumor I'm waiting for final details

Rice gay? He was married for 12 years.

Yeah I thought that was weird as well. Maybe the person that said that doesn't like the 49ers? As a football fan in general how could you not like watching Rice play on Sunday's? I like watching all the greats in football (and basketball too) no matter who they play for.

Thankfully though I haven't had to watch too many Bungles games over the decades (hey, no Browns jokes right now- thanks!) because the best thing to come outta cincinnati since HOFer Anthony Munoz is skyline chili.

More cap room?!?!

Surprised the Packers would want to create that at this point in the offseason. Especially as it would just create more dead cap onto next years cap.

I'll take "who needs a wide receiver for $500, alex"
. .
He will have all the receivers he needs this year. Adams is top 5 and has been rated #1, the other recievers have another year of experience and last year they had Funchess under contract but he opted out because of covid for family reasons. He has been to camp and is ready to roll so he will also be added into the mix along with rookie Amari Rodgers. Rodgers will be happy with his recievers

This is kind of a final FU to the GM that's for sure. Rodger gets his freedom and all the Pack will get in return is a comp pick. Moving on from a guy who is still a prime QB like Rodgers should have netted the Packers a TON of high picks.

Hell if I am the Packer's and this is the only way forward, I put him on the market now and see if I can't get a king's ransom for him now rather than do one final run with him and lose him for nothing during the offseason.

The Packer's are a solid team obviously. But not some sure shot SB contender this year to justify losing out on what could be 3 1st round picks.

How good is Love going to have to be to justify using that draft pick on him now? What a mistake that was!

The thought is trading him after this season.

What are they gonna get for him then? 1 year older, and 1 less on contract. Should have traded to the niners for that #3 overall.
