They were and are looking to move on from him, as evidenced by then drafting Love (obviously, not sure that is a smart decision). They let the baby have his bottle so that he'd actually show up to camp and not be out of rhythm.

I don't remember Jordy exactly lighting the world on fire in Oakland. He was cooked at that point and just because they made a mistake with Graham, doesn't mean letting Jordy go was the wrong move.
