That is pretty much the jist of the matter. You watch, Elway knows what he is doing and 10-to-1, Paxton Lynch, the guy we should have selected at 15 will start before Goff and be a better QB short and long-term.

I'm not ready to label the guy a bust yet. He does however need to bust his ass on the field during practice and memorize that playbook pronto. I hope that he does use being relegated to 3rd string as motivation to get better. I'll wait until the end of either next year or the 2018 to start thinking about putting the bust label on him.

Then why start a thread called "A Swing and Miss...Again!"? The thing the org keeps getting wrong is keeping Fisher around.

Wentz was in the same exact spot until the Bradford trade. Said they were going to sit him all year. I guess they figured watching Daniel play like shit wouldn't have helped his growth.

Because I do believe that we continually year after year misread the draft and tend to let players that we could really use, and are pro ready get away. That does not mean that I am in any way against Goff. I like the kid and cannot wait to see him play, just was hoping that it would be sooner than later, but that's OK I can wait.
P.S I agree with your Fisher statement, It is time to move on!

I personally think the Eagles are making a mistake here. Wentz played against some 3rd stringers in the first preseason game to mediocre at best results, cracked a rib and hasn't played since. The only caveat is that they're playing the Browns at Philly.

Has Chase Daniel been playing that badly that he wasn't the obvious choice over a rusty and banged up Wentz?
