Shitty baseball night. Excited to see Swihart in the majors, but the Sox' catching situation isn't too good. Losing Vazquez and (probably, outside chance he could be back towards the end of the season) now Hanigan.

As long as they don't sign Salty.

Sean McAdam of CSN New England reports that Blake Swihart is expected to join the Red Sox on Saturday.

While Swihart is expected to be recalled, the Red Sox are said to still be exploring external options. According to McAdam though, former Red Sox catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia is not expected to be among those names being considered. Should the Red Sox refrain from adding another catcher from outside the organization, Swihart immediately gains mixed league relevancy

Yankees are the beast of the East. Very impressive what they been doing. As a Yankee fan i am shocked in how well they are playing. I did not expect. I knew we would have one of the best bullpens and D would be better but to be this good wow.

And we been doing this mainly on the road.

It is a very long season but after our 3-6 start it is great to see them playing so well

I like Hanley, but that was BS on his part. And to have the Sox hit Jacoby like they did.
