You need to ask the same question to yourself. You go to stats alot. Since you bragged of stats on 5/19 of being 3rd in batting avg. and being Bronx bombers again with 44 HR at the time. Good for tenth in league.

48 HR good for 17th 4HR in two weeks awesome

Tigers went from 38 to 53 in same time frame.

Tigs still second in AVG. and Yanks have fell to 7th. Good try kid.

You use stats that make the arguement look good. Only problem is other stats show true story...

Tanaka is going to be great, 1 of the top pitchers in MLB for the next decade (barring the japaneze pitcher injury curse)...

But the Yankees can not even remotely be looked at as a good team and they are going to have to fill in much more around Ellsbury, Gardnerand McCann to even make it a team.

Not even in the Tigers league, this Tigers team might even be able to beat someone other than the Yankees and Oakland in the playoffs.
