Bumgarner is just plain amazing, bunting in front of Aoki was a terrible move and on 2 - 0. That play Panik made to turn that double play was huge.


Oh and Perez still phucking sucks! Bumgarner is already better than you, stop giving the at bat away by swinging at pitches neck high! He missed the 1 - 1 pitch by 8 inches.

It's not an exaggeration saying that Doug could have put up a better AB in that spot.


I mean when he was coming up I knew Royals were fucked with his zero discipline. But those swings were worse than anyone could imagine.

I would have sent Gordon as soon as I saw the 2nd fumble, would have been a great ending either way.


Royals made it 90 ft away in game 7 of the WS at home, it was a fun and amazing ride, but it fuckin sucks to not get a ring and just made it that much worse to come as close as about you can get to getting one....


I would have rather had an earlier exit or no playoffs at all...that was absolutely just too gut wrenching for most of the game too...or listening to my brother yell at a TV or the alcohol or the pizza...errr who knows.


Maybe later will change tune but, "if you not 1st, your last" R.B.

Gordon would have been out by about 30 feet. If there is any second guessing it's allowing Perez to even take the bat up to the plate with him.

if he gets the throw right, the ball gets caught, yada, yada...I also knew who was up next...the odds were about the same for the result.


it was Perez's HR that was Bum's only run, there was that too but lighting doesn't happen twice.


anything would have been lighting in a bottle at that point.

I'm gonna say it -- KC will overtake Detroit next season as the best team in the ALC, barring a loss of key players. KC pitches better, runs better, plays better defense, and plays as a team. The Tigers have some stars, but are farther from being a complete team than the Royals are.

Oops was wrong about bumgarner. He pretty much singlehandedly won the WS for SF. Great season and great series bums and moose. I feel your pain, congrats on how far you made it and heres hoping to another great race next year for det and kc.

I think its too early to tell. Ill wait and see what happens in the offseason first.

I would say KC is 3rd place in the division until further notice. Too skeptical about Hosmer's consistency, Finnegan as a rookie starter, and the strange goldilocks zone (along with luck) that Danny Duffy enjoyed.
