Have a buddy selling his upper decks for $750, he is going out of town....have another one letting me know if he gets 2 lower level from a Vender for free tomorrow by 10 am....


Free, I am there...$750...ehhh, don't want to think about it.


That A's game, do or die, it WORKED....no need to in game 6 ws do or die.....(two games now for Laker, lol)....the jets better be green lighted tomorrow...I would rather die running than die sitting still.

Everyone has been throwing the damn kitchen sink to stop the Royals running game. Holes in the defense be damned, they are stopping stolen bases though. It's the 1st to 3rds and 1st to homes that really kill you when a team has this much speed.

I have dislike Infante all season long...but will give him all the props in the world...that slide at home is arguably the best slide I have ever seen scoring a run...the only play that has topped it, when I saw a guy jump the catcher to score.


He ran outside of the 3b coach, with the stop sign too, lol, and looped into home at an angle that was more pronounced than I have ever seen, what 45 degrees...you can't get more loop in a slide or further away from a catcher and still get the plate.


Just amazing slide.

I honestly think the presence of Colon to keep Infante fresh will help more than anything. I think we saw the consequences of overusing Perez with his 2nd half at the plate until recently when he got several offdays (those sweeps paid off in some way at least)

absolutely right on both points....Colon works out more at 3b in the off season and spring training, he will be the perfect super sub and keep Infante off the "DL"...575 abs, his 3rd highest, nice to have seen that, at least for 1 season.

You have no idea how much I want ANYBODY to sign his sorry, smiley ass. OMG he blows as an outfielder!

And all he does is swing, which I guess wouldn't be out of place in KC. Other than he swings for the fences on every pitch. No such thing as a secondary swing with this late phase version of hunter.

But if he stayed in Detroit for 5-6mil as a fourth outfielder/pinch hitter it'd be okay. Id much rather have Aoki. Or let Avila move out to right. He'd cover the same amount of ground(Torii can't get a jump to save his life) and he draws walks. (And no, Im not serious about Avila)

Alright, the excitement is really getting to you now lol. It was a nice slide but best you've ever seen? Cmon. he took a crazy wide hang around 3rd and that's where it took him.

Plus the game was 8-0 lol.

This Royals post season is getting you to clamor greatest ever a little exaggerated.

But regardless go Royals!!! Love seeing that pile of dung Peavy get knocked out.

Guthrie Hudson is the oldest winner take all match up ever.


Gotta figure Guthrie is getting a quick hook. The big guns are all well rested. The plan is obviously 5 innings as less than that would cause a little improve(is Ned capable?). But 6-8 you bet your ass its Herrera and Davis then Holland after that.


For the Giants I think 5 is the goal for Hudson as well. Petit had to work tonight a little and they got some could cuts on him. Again, bet your ass its Bumgarner in the 6-7th before Romo and Casilla(the lefty specialists if situation calls for it)


Obviously, these "plans" are if all goes to plan. If one team storms out the gate like tonight well then its different. But close games that's the blue prints.

when you can post a crazier angle slide at home, feel free too, would love to see it...and yes, I think more than 1 guy has jumped a catcher to score and every time that is a much cooler play.


They replayed even Sundburg's slide in game 6 in 85, not even close as well as many head first slides If you really take a look at the slide, the angle of his body was really extreme and more abnormal than most slides I have seen..a subtle difference that I had to replay for my brother tonight, multipule times.


Its just the best thing I have seen Infante do all season, lol.


And will stand behind Royals/A's game as one of the greatest post season Do or Die games that I have witnessed since 1980, come back 3 times down, twice in extra's and walk off, give me game close that had 2 must have runs in that half inning do or dies, not just 1 time last AB heroics....Not THE greatest, still love Joe Carter's and probably Aaron Boone's better, just because of the HR factor. Of course, I am talking actual do or die games though, some have a hard time understanding what that means.
