I also was shocked at the hosmer pick. At the beginning of season I would have agreed since I predicted hosmer to hit 20-25 this year. Boy was i off.

Yes, and he failed miserably. Mauer has also not played up to his contract. Its just annoying, if hockey has a problem with gandy, deal with it. Gandy got defensive due to feeing improper trivia. Really it all should have ended when Bronco smartly pointed out "he must have meant AL MVP" and I replied saying that was probably what it was since every switch hitter I came up with played in the NL. For some idiotic reason Gandy acted like me saying his trivia was wrong was equivalent to murdering his dog. This obviously back him into a corner of daftness and he resorted to sneaking in jabs at the Twins(I mean why not? Look like a fool and fire back!!) so I then "spewed bullshit" about the Tigers.

Yeah agreed. I was saying the same thing on the NFL boards(along with the vast majority over there). Spanking is fine and using a switch is as well. It's the drawing of blood and finding out the kid was four that is usual.

Of course, since this is stupid week for Tigers fans. It went completely over Bronco's head and I am now pro child abuse and homer. Saying exactly what 85% of posters were saying.
