injury to his right shoulder. that explains a lot this year. had to figure the ace of MLB had some thing wrong with his arm/shoulder/core surgery/work load/bad defense/umps squeezing him.

Not an upgrade, period in the OF. Definitely a much needed upgrade at 1B and DH. I have more faith in him than I do Hosmer figuring it out right off the DL.

Willingham doesn't sound like much, but given the Royals offense from RF/DH this year, it's a pretty good upgrade. Assuming he's healthy.

Always liked the Willinghammer, it's nice to see him going to a contender for a change. He's had a pretty nice career.
