No stability doesn't mean there isn't a difference in batting with runners in scoring position and when they are not.... you are just seeing what you want.

you know I don't think much off moustakis at all.
BUT would take him over castellonos any day.
when ever castellonos does some thing good..you don't have to wait long till he screws up. game 2 of the kc series.
castellonos tripled...then got thrown out at home on a ground ball to short for a double play..castellonos is a dumb POS...idiot keeps making dumb mistake...tigers will try to trade him..if they cant he will live in Toledo next year

It's not so much that there is no such thing as "clutch". It's that there's no proof that clutch performance is a repeatable skill, and "clutch" stats have little (if any) predictive value whatsoever.

Just putting the other teams in the AL Central on notice. The Indians will dominate the division starting in 2020!

Ventura was never ranked in the top 20 prospects in baseball. His highest ranking was #35. Norris is #18.
Wow... Royals are winning a series vs the Angels... and you had to go to the NL to find another playoff contender that they are winning the series against... LOL

Tigers are not eliminated from anything yet bums. If at the end of Aug the Royals division lead is only 5 or 6 games... I would not be so confident.

Your knowledge of prospect rankings, I can see why you always think the Tigers prospects are incredible while everyone else ranks the Tigers minors dead last, even after this last draft class. The homer glasses are great.

I could have added Minny but they seem to be sliding out of it.

career minor league numbers - 3.48 era whip 1.286 vs 4.08 whip 1.387, will let you guess who has the better numbers.

Slight correction... Ventura was ranked #26 by Baseball America. Baseball Prospectus ranked him #12. Baseball-Reference doesn't really do prospect rankings. They just list the rankings from various outlets.

Your point stands though. Also worth noting John Sickels had Ventura ranked as a B+/borderline A- prospect in his 2014 preseason rankings. And why "top 20"? Seems pretty arbitrary.

I understand, baseball reference just uses reputable rankers and links them. Sickle's is fast becoming one of the more respected one's.

Its not arbitrary, Vice glanced at some info, if Norris was ranked 22, he would have said top 25 or top 30. Vice argues to win, he doesn't argue to be correct or truthfull.

oh, and if you reread it, you will see I had them ranked with the ranker correctly. You just took the number to the wrong sorces.
