Hey Danny, I hadn't realized that Shapiro dragged Ross Aktins across the border with him and made him the GM.

That's a trip. Atkins pitched for the Akron Aeros years ago, and at the time, I was a bartender at a popular nightclub in Akron and he'd come in a lot. I wasn't much of a baseball fan back then so I didn't know him well, but there were a couple incidents that I recall.

Main thing I remember about him was his blinding hatred for Canada. . .

I can't really complain, he's hardly made a bad move to date except trading for Drew Storen. Also, to be fair, Canada kinda sucks, especially if you run into a Canadian with a serious case of inferiority complex.
