Really? JD Martinez comes in to pinch hit and 1st pitch from Chris Sale -- he hits it about 450 feet out to the deepest part of CF. WOW.
Seconds ago Dickerson told me it was 434.

What a return. Sale hadn't given up a hit in over an hour. (I forget how many batters. The distance occupied my brain.)

How the hell does a team like the Twins beat the living piss out of a good team like the Indians?

We aren't as bad as our record, but almost 20% of our team wins have come against the mighty Tribe.

The 450 was just a guess on my part from watching it and where it landed. So what Dickerson said is more accurate.

We thank you for the help.

Good lord, I do NOT want to be playing the Twins right now. Hoping they cool off by August 23.

I said it very early on in the year. The White Sox were not nearly as a good as their record and the Twins were not nearly as bad as theirs.

Twins are still not a good team but way too much offensive potential to stay a train wreck. Just hoping they can finish really strong and bring back the optimism.

Holy Hell!

Just realized Bauer didn't make it out of the third and Minny is killing again.

I honestly thought Bauer was turning a corner this season. Apparently, he just took a peek around the corner. 5 walks in 2.2 IP yesterday ... walk rate at 3.7, creeping right back up to his career rate of 4.0.

You and me both. @broncosmitty knew the score, though. That homo. Sapien.

He was rolling. From when they gave him a starting gig, through the 19 inning marathon in Toronto, when they brought him out of the bullpen, he carried a 2.79 ERA over 84 innings pitched, was 8-5 and averaging nearly 7 IP/GS.

I'm not sure if that relief appearance mindfucked him or what, but he's gone 0-3 in his subsequent five starts, averaging 4.7 IP/GS with an 8.37 ERA.

I hope Mike Fulmer contracts leprosy and his arm falls off.

Also, fuck Toronto, fuck Danny Limes and fuck Jonathan Lucroy.

The Good news for the Tribe is that Mike Clevenger and his 7.71 ERA are taking the mound, and the Indians bullpen is well-rested since they only pitched nineteen innings over the past three days. . .
