The Tigers won 5 series in June, and lost 3. Unfortunately, all three losing series were against ALC teams.

Long season. I know and you know indians will fall back.around august. Just saying there are not familiar with being on top of the central. Big crash coming around August. Calling it...you will see

You might be right, but the Tigers problem is that there are two other teams besides the Indians in the central that are better than them.

And really, sweeping the Marlins really isn't something to get excited about. It's like sweeping the Tigers.

Definitely an odd month for the Tigers.

NYY - 2-2
CHW - 4-2
TOR - 2-1
KCR - 1-3
SEA - 4-0
CLE - 0-3
MIA - 2-0

15-11.

Might be worth noting that eight of those wins came against the Mariners and White Sox, who are a combined 19-31 in June.

Sweep is a sweep.
Unless it is the tigers. Then it's not as good as a royal or Indian sweep. Got it. Shore nuff homers

I see. Those wins don't count as much as wins against other teams. I always thought a win is a win.

Doug...A question. Are you making this up as you go along?

Now you and I both know that if it was the Tigers in first place by 7 games, you'd be turning cartwheels bragging about how great the Tigers are and how they are dominating the weak talent-less teams in the AL Central!!!

BUT, here we are, just about at the half way mark of the season, and you are claiming the Tigers are just sitting back waiting to claim the division with their "razor sharp" talent. So....I assume you are saying that it does not matter what Detroit or any team does as now, ultimately the Tigers will win it all! However, and here is my question, where do you see this razor sharp talent that you claim the Tigers have??? You seriously can't credit Sanchez as being razor sharp because he mopped up in a 10-3 game? Where in the bullpen do you see razor-sharpness...even KRod isn't that sharp these days. And the starting rotation? Razor sharp? No one is buying that. The bottom of the batting order? Where is the razor, doug? (And please don't give us Verlander....that joke isn't even close to funny any more)

Doug...come clean. You just make it up as you go along, huh?

This is kind of projecting out, but holy crap, I'd love to see a Marlins vs Dodgers WC game. King Jose vs Kershaw? Sign me up for that.

15-11.

Just an FYI, the Tigers actually won their only series against the Yanks in June (first 3-game series win in the Bronx since 2008 or something). The 2-2 record was because of a rainout makeup game on June 2 that the Tigers lost. That's why I wrote 5 series wins.
