oh i can guarantee.. if you take all the players on the 40 man roster of the tigers it ends up at an even 27 yrs of age... which actually makes them the youngest team in the division.
You can do the 25 man too... no matter how you cut it.. they are not the oldest team in the division. Using the 40 man really ISN'T cherry picking... because EVERY team in the division has 15 kids on their 40 man.. are you trying to tell me the Twins, White Sox, Indians. and Royals don't have young kids on their 40 man? To be honest.. the Royals have the youngest kid on their 40 man... and they are still the oldest team..That's also cherry picking the fuck out of your numbers to make them appear what they aren't. How about the projected 25 man roster? Taking 15 kids from your minor league system, most of which won't see a cup of coffee in The Show this year, out of the equation is a MUCH more accurate assessment of what your team's ACTUAL team age is.
No talking about Bums pizza place!
To be honest... Its not even an argument here... people can cry about it all they want.. its basic math.. there is no opinion.. do the math. When you have a bunch of guys over 30 on your roster.. and the other team has a bunch of 23-25 yr olds... It really isn't to hard to see. We can move on any time now.. This is another argument caused by a complete bullshit statement from da55bums... who once again is wrong.
Actually its not immaterial.. da55bums made a completely BS statement and I proved it incorrect. Would love to see where you got 27.7.. because when I do it by hand.. it comes to exactly 27... but regardless... his statement was FALSE.... We can all move along now...40-man rosters average age
Tigers - 27.7
Royals - 27.8
Immaterial.
Now, please shut the fuck up with your petty bullshit.
Would love to see where you got 27.7.. because when I do it by hand.. it comes to exactly 27...
Well this looks like fun....
I'm impressed that people in Ohio know how to use excel that well.Your hand sucks.
I dumped their 40-man roster with DOBs from the Tigers' website into an excel file.
As of today, the players on the Tigers' 40-man roster have existed for a combined 405,028 days. That's a 27.7 year average.
