A couple things on expansion and the Big 12

It looks like West Virginia will be the replacement for Missouri in the Big Twelve. It is an upgrade in both football and basketball. How bout that.

Not 100% sold that it's WVU.

They've already claimed they were in the ACC and then the SEC. It's possible their rumor mill strikes out, and the B12 goes for Louisville.

They're also not the type of school who could afford to vote to an increased buyout if they knew they were going to pay it.

The buyout is still only 5mil in the Big East, right? That's pennies and if the Big 12 wanted them I am sure they could help pay that fee. I am not sure what the appeal of Louisville over WVU would be from a fanbase, branding and athletic perspective.

LOL at teams trying to get into the Big Least. Whenever the schools start to leave they should lose their BCS bid. Probably the new CUSA and MWC conference will be more worthy of a bid then the Big East.
