Last year was a make or break season for David Shaw and he passed. This year is a make or break season for Oregon and Helfrich, we'll see how he does.

When is Chip's show cause over with? The NFL will probably be done with him by then.

Stanford won the first 51-42 in 09.
Oregon won the second 52-31 in 2010.
as OC for Oregon Chip was 2-0 against Harbaugh as a head coach 55-31 in 07 and 35-28 in 08.
their time in the NFL overlapped 2 years. the 13 and 14 seasons but they only met once. a Harbaugh win 26-21.
so overall Chip is 3-2 against Harbaugh. barely lost those 2. while winning pretty solidly in 2 of the 3 wins.
Not sure I buy that he is scared of Harabaugh for any reason.
